These steps follow the public rescue loop while avoiding made-up thresholds.
1. Rescue and earn trust
Find a scared or lonely pet and use the in-game trust path before bringing it back to your rescue home.
2. Complete care needs
Wash, feed, and keep the pet happy. Kept pets need these states for the donation behavior described publicly.
3. Choose keep or family
Keep a favorite pet for care and donations, or use the game’s family-placement path when your goal is rank and shelter capacity.
4. Read the live progress display
Use the requirement shown in your current game session. Public sources do not currently provide a safe numeric substitute.
The public badge list names New Volunteer, Volunteer, Experienced Volunteer, Senior Volunteer, Shelter Curator, and Local Hero in that order.
How many pets do I need for each rank?
The public badge descriptions do not list pet counts or other requirements. Check the in-game rank display before planning around a specific number.
Do volunteer ranks unlock shelter slots?
The game description says helping rescued pets find families lets you rank up and unlock more shelter slots, but it does not publish a slot count for each rank.
Does Local Hero give a special reward?
A reward is not listed in the public badge data we checked. Treat any reward claim as unconfirmed until it appears in the game or a creator-owned update.
